Sarcos has also developed highly functional micro-catheters that represent a new class of minimally invasive, intravascular systems that include both micro-mechanical and electrical features on their tips. The addition of interactive integrated electronic features with internal features provides systems that can access, diagnose, and treat diseases more efficiently and less traumatically. Important treatments include vascular occlusions and anomalies, tumors, and degenerative organ diseases. Sarcos has also developed the AdVAntage arm which is an artificial prosthesis for above the elbow amputees. The arm is highly advanced and is lightweight. It features lift assist, lift lock, short elbow, cable recovery: constant cable pull/excursion, independent elbow / TD operation, and is compatible with existing prosthetic components.
