Cecilia Prieto is a proven senior executive in product development and field operations sectors, with more than 20 years of experience in both engineering and leadership roles. She currently serves as Division Vice President Americas Land for Schlumberger, where she is responsible for all land operations in the Americas for oilfield services and product sales businesses in Well Construction operations.
Prieto has spent the majority of her career in a variety of roles for Schlumberger including engineering, project management, and operational roles. She spent her first 10 years designing and developing electro-mechanical drilling systems that can communicate and be powered with only fluidic power. She then took on several assignments managing a portfolio of cross-product line projects, defining and overseeing the company’s R&D marketing and technology processes, and as Vice President of Manufacturing, overseeing the Schlumberger manufacturing activities of 30+ production centers worldwide. Prior to her current role, Prieto was in charge of Drilling Operations for North Sea Scandinavia.
Prieto volunteers as a Champion for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She has four granted and pending patents. She received her Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering from MIT.
