Program Manager, Sarcos Defense
David Vandivort serves as a Department of Defense Program Manager for Sarcos Defense. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing program strategy, business development, and contract planning and execution within the defense sector to ensure Sarcos products and services meet the needs of the military.
Vandivort has extensive and diverse management and leadership experience in program management, logistics, strategic/tactical analysis, mission execution, and asset management within the defense industry. He served in the United States Marine Corps for 18 years as a Naval Flight Officer, Executive Officer, Plans and Operations Officer, and Aircraft Maintenance Officer. Since then, Vandivort has served in a variety of defense-related roles, including Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected Vehicle Program Director of Plans and Operations for SAIC in Bagram, Afghanistan; Vice President and General Manager at Atkinson Robotics and Technology Integration Corporation in Fairbanks, Alaska; and Executive Program Manager at STS International in Arlington, VA. His most recent role was Assistant Program Manager – Test and Evaluation and Senior Principal Analyst for Atkinson Aeronautics and Technology in Maryland.
Vandivort received a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Kansas and a Master of Business Administration from City University of Seattle.
