Chief Operating Officer
Marian Joh serves as Chief Operating Officer for Sarcos Robotics, where she is responsible for all aspects of operations, including managing scale production and manufacturing of Sarcos’ products and delivering products that meet the needs of Sarcos customers.
Joh has more than 25 years of multi-disciplinary operations experience, primarily in the aerospace industry. Prior to joining Sarcos, she was President of Spaceflight Systems Inc., an aerospace company producing best-in-class high-performance imaging spacecraft. Joh managed the day-to-day operations, including negotiating multi-million dollar contracts, overseeing budgets and operational plans, and hiring and training more than 75 staff members. Joh also served as Co-Founder, Chair, President, and CFO of Andrews Space, Inc., which pioneered an imaging microsatellite. While at Andrews Space, Inc., she developed a clear mission, vision, and culture and implemented robust policies and organizational structures to drive continued growth and expansion.
Earlier in her career, Joh also served as Vice President of Finance and Strategy for Tornado Development and as Lead Financial Analyst for Kistler Aerospace. She was named an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for the Manufacturing Industry in 2006.
Joh currently serves on the Board of Directors for Voyager Space Holdings and the Seattle Academy of Arts and Science. She has also served on the Board of Directors for Spaceflight Industries and The Evergreen School. Joh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Economics from Western Washington University.
