Kevin Grundy

Chief Operating Officer

Kevin Grundy serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Operations for Sarcos Robotics where he is responsible for managing all scale production and manufacturing. He is a key participant in the product commercialization team, reviewing all aspects of design and manufacturing to ensure economic scalability of Sarcos’ products.

In addition, Grundy is a 25-plus year Silicon Valley technology veteran with an extensive track record. As a founding member of the NeXT Computer hardware team and as a direct report to Steve Jobs, he oversaw the design and manufacture of the NeXT Computer, which is antecedent for today’s Apple computer products. He is also the co-founder of Telocity, a nationwide broadband service that went public in an IPO for more than $1 billion. Grundy was also the President and CEO of NextNet Wireless, a base station and CPE manufacturer.

Grundy holds 42 patents in electronic hardware, video and storage technologies. He graduated with BSEE (magna cum laude) and MSEE degrees from the California State University at Pomona. He is also the 2015 Distinguished Engineering Alumnus and currently a member of the Cal Poly Pomona Deans Advisory Board.
