Tommy Brown

Director, Sales and Business Development, Sarcos Defense

Tommy Brown serves as Director of Sales and Business Development for Sarcos Defense. In this role, he is responsible for domestic and international product sales, client relationship management, and identifying new growth opportunities for the company.

Prior to joining Sarcos, Brown was Senior Account Manager at Teledyne FLIR, a leader in imaging systems, advanced threat detection, and multi-domain unmanned systems. In this role, Brown managed sales for customers in the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Justice, Department of Defense Labs, and various other state and local agencies. While at Teledyne FLIR, he also contributed to complex R&D efforts focused on the improved integration of unmanned systems into a variety of high-risk military missions.

Brown spent the first decade of his professional career as a U.S. Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal Officer. After departing from active duty, he spent several years in the oil and gas industry prior to pivoting to robotics and other defense-related technologies.

Brown holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles.
